Ice, Ice, and Baby (part 2)

Forgot to put this picture at the bottom of the last blog, so here it is! First on Part 2!

Now that vacation is finished, we started back on our normal life, which includes playing with ice in the backyard! It was so cute to watch her sort out the blue pieces and pile them up next to her. Of course the ice was also fun to taste and squish! All in all a great family learning experience, yes I know, her mama is a school nerd. Daddy often says "you can take the teacher out of the school, but the school will always be in the teacher!"

Mommy and Daddy's room... more fun to explore then DISNEY! I wish we had a monitor that would tell us what she was thinking, I bet it would be something like "I FOUND IT! I always wondered what happened to the dogs while we were gone" or maybe "HEY, did you know there is a hamper full of clothes behind this curtain?" hehe She cracks us up!

And finally this week we met baby Mackenzie Hayman. Mommy and Daddy have known Mackenzie's Mommy and Daddy for 2 years now! We all knew each other before there were babies to even be thinking about. Mackenzie made us realize how big Grace has gotten, and how much she can do! Mackenzie also made us realize that when we are ready to add to our family,Mommy will love the newborn phase all over again. (Mommy was a little worried now that Grace is soo exciting, that having another baby might be boring!) But no, Mackenzie was so sweet and so tiny. It is always great to make new friends!
