32 Weeks

This week hurricane Irene came up along the coast of North Carolina! It was amazing to see the wind swirling around in all different directions. We spent some time out on the front porch just watching the storm. Bean loves sitting on her new perch.... Now she is not only the most cat-like dog ever created, but she is also the most bird-like dog!

Leaves and branches are everywhere on the ground. And we only saw the very edge of the storm. Thank goodness we don't live any closer to the ocean!

Ominous looking clouds!

8 more weeks to go! WOOHOO!!!!

31 weeks!

I always knew Cross Country would be back in our lives someday... however I had no idea it would be when I was 31 weeks pregnant! hehe. We enjoyed getting to see Daddy's former track runners race their first high school race for Panther Creek High School! When they saw us, they would get the biggest smiles on their faces and say "Mr Mac! You came!!!"

This week was also the start of work days for Mommy and Daddy. Here are some pictures of Mommy's 2nd Grade classroom at Bethesda Elementary!

Here are some pictures of Daddy's 8th Grade Science room at Mills Park Middle School!

Happy 31 weeks Grace! Only 9 weeks to go!!!

30 Weeks!

This week Mommy and Daddy took 30 week pictures! We looked at different professional photography websites online and found images we really liked. We then attempted to do our best at recreating the pictures. I am very pleased with how they came out! Daddy did such a great job taking ideas Mommy had and then making them even better! Then we used a program called Picasa to change up the pictures to make them perfect! Happy 30 weeks Grace! We can't wait to meet you.

This set Daddy took just laying on our retro green couches! It was so fun to crop the pictures and use different effects to get the look I wanted.

This set of pictures Daddy took out in our backyard. We have beautiful big oak trees and they made the perfect back drop for these 30 week pictures! Great Job Daddy!!

29 Weeks!

This week we got out our baby shower invitations! Mimi is hosting a baby shower in September for us and we are so excited to celebrate with our friends! We decided to do one big bash for both Daddy's School, Mills Park Middle, Mommy's school, Bethesda Elementary, our life group friends, and everyone else we care about. It will be interesting to have everyone here at the same time. Hopefully our house can handle all the traffic!

Mommy and Daddy both got new glasses this week! We are trying to get all those yearly appointments out of the way before Grace comes so we can focus 100% on her when she gets here! We can't believe there are only 11 weeks left!

Grace got her first piece of mail this week from Uncle Zach. It says: "Dear Baby Grace, Is this your first piece of mail? Coyotes like this love to eat little babies like you! Your Best Friend, Zach" Uncle Zach always makes us smile!

Front of the card.

Last but certainly not least, Mommy got a pregnancy massage and a facial this week! It was so wonderful to be pampered! Especially with this weight starting to pull down on my back! Thank you Mimi and J-Pa for getting the massage last year without knowing how much I would need it! Here are some pictures of the place I went! It was luxurious!

28 Weeks

On Friday Mommy fell on her side, so the doctors did an ultrasound to make sure that Grace was ok. She looked perfect! She is now 2.4 lbs which is in the 49% of babies at the same stage in pregnancy, which is great. Her heart was beating at 153bpm and sounded strong. It was nice to be able to see how big and healthy she is. Although, it makes the pictures they give us even harder to really see because she is so tightly curled up in a ball. The top and bottom pictures are her face, we were able to see it more clearly at the doctor's office. The middle picture is her foot. Grace has got her foot wrapped so close up by her head that daddy asked "Wow that does not look comfortable" The ultrasound tech said, "It must be for her or she would move it" hehe - we love you Grace, even if you turn out a little strange like your parents! =)

Your Great-Grandmommy Knapp (J-Pa's Mom) went shopping and got you some great clothes, shoes, and toys! We are so lucky to have such a wonderful family surrounding us during this time. And of course, the Gator shoes are awesome! Grace will be a little Gator whether she likes it or not! =) Can't wait for Great-Grandmommy to meet you when she comes up for Thanksgiving!

We are still seeing your name everywhere, and each time we do we are reminded what a beautiful name it is. We love you Grace!

27 weeks - Third Trimester!

Mommy with Grace at 27 weeks! I can't believe Grace is already over 14 inches long and over 2 lbs in weight! She is getting to be such a big girl! She is kicking quite a bit and especially before meals. I dont think she likes when my tummy grumbles!

G is for GRACE! We thought you might like to see some pictures of the other side of Grace's room. We always show the pictures with the crib and changing table - so here is what the rest looks like! We still need to figure out how we are going to put up the cute white shelves we have on the wall - but you can start to see the room coming together! We are so excited!

This week we got to go to a dance performance at DPAC with Uncle Taylor! We even got to sit in the box seats. It was very fancy! We had a great time.

We love you Grace! Happy 3rd Trimester!

26 weeks!

We spent week 26 in Atlanta for another week with Mimi and J-pa! Mommy and Daddy did spend a night alone in downtown Atlanta on a "4 year anniversary" trip. We had a great time! We got to stay in a hotel inside the CNN building! It was also right across from Centennial Olympic Park, where the Olympics were in 1996. It was beautiful!

We got to see the Atlanta Aquarium and The World of Coca-Cola. We had a great time at both! We really enjoyed the Coke commercials from around the world and seeing the Dolphin Show at the Aquarium!

Yup, that's Daddy in with all the penguins!

Back in Buford we went to an awesome half million dollar dog park! Athens and Bean had a great time in the water fountains and running on the turf.

Thanks Mimi and J-pa for a great, relaxing vacation! We love you! (and Grace too!)
