It's Already JUNE!!!

Wow! So much happened last month in May. It was so challenging to try and pick out which were the BIG moments! They were all so special. I did my best to pick out my favorite moments from the last month, but I would strongly suggest you check out our day to day blog: learningoakfarm.blogspot.blog for a better idea of what our family is all about!
Grace went to the strawberry patch. Mommy had never been to a strawberry patch either! It was so much fun. I am pretty sure we ate twice as many strawberries as we put in our bucket. Grace had an amazing ability to consume the ENTIRE strawberry, stem and all. They were delicious!!

We also did some outdoor painting. Grace is becoming quite the artist. She loves coloring, painting, and getting really, really messy!  She is also showing off one of her cloth diapers. We actually use cloth diapers now 100% of the time. No disposables for this family. :) Its more work with the washing, but it is so worth it financially and of course saving the world!

Mothers Day!!! I am so glad that God chose me to be this girls Mama. He knew exactly what he was doing when he gave her to me. She teaches me knew things everyday about loving unconditionally, quickly forgiving and forgetting, enjoying every moment, and just having joy. I am so blessed.

She loves imitating her Daddy. I had to share this picture. I just love how she adores everything about him.
We had a Marbles class called Toddler Together and Uncle Taylor was able to come each week and spend his lunch playing with us! He is such a great Uncle, always makes time for his niece. If both Daddy and Mommy are home and Grace hears a car door she immediately asks, Tay Tay? I love that. :)

Outside time is still very important here! We love our patio and its really coming together. We have gotten flowers in the pots and all Daddy's stuff cleared out of the open area. (not pictured here) We are really pleased with the safe place we have created.

Life and Science Museum with Daddy before we drove to our CaMpInG TrIp!!!!

Sleeping on the way to Uwharrie National Forest!
We made it! Our first family vacation. Camping for one night! :) It rained the ENTIRE time we were there :) So we had a lot of fun having a picnic inside our tent. We read lots of books on the air mattress. We bounced and Daddy even flew Grace up in the air. It was fun to just slow down and enjoy each other with no technology distractions
 .

We made it through the night. Grace slept great, Mommy not so much. I think the rain kept making me have to use the restroom. hehe We had a wonderful pancake breakfast and then we walked out to a very beautiful lake. There was swimming somewhere but we opted not to in the rain.

We had such a lovely time camping together. I am so glad we went. :) It was nice to get away and be just the three of us over night!
I just had to include this picture of Boppy, Mimi and Grace. We are so glad they are living here in Cary now, and they are such a consistent part of our life. It. is. amazing.
Grace also had a memorial day picnic with some friends. We got some amazing pictures, our friend Deanna really does magazine quality shots!

Daddy and Mommy are still going on date nights. We try to get out every other week, and when we do we have a great time. :) Still totally in love <3 Not one day goes by I am not extremely thankful God chose him for me!
Memorial day itself was great. We read books, blew bubbles, went to the playground and had our first boo boo all in one day!

Grace just enjoying summer in a field of dandelions. This child makes my heart sing, have I mentioned that before?

Grace, I am madly in love with the little person you are becoming. Lately you have been chatting up a storm! I mean literally talking all day long. I absolutely love it. You are so silly and you love to laugh, you like when Daddy and I make funny faces and funny noises. So of course we do them all the time! We love you and could not be more proud of you or feel more blessed that you are ours. Just the other day Daddy looked at me and said, "Can you believe that she is really ours? That we really get to keep her?" I sure can't. You amaze us.
xoxo
