Two, Blue, BOO!

Oh October, what an incredible month we have had. I feel like there are so many things I would love to share and write about, but honestly it would take me hours to record it all. So here are the big points.

We are happy.
We are healthy.
We are madly in love with our two children.

The three big events I'm going to record are our big TWO, our exciting announcement of BLUE and of course Halloween events and all the BOOs.

Two was amazing. We started out by hosting a meet up play date at our house. It was open to anyone in our meetup group who wanted to come. We painted pumpkins and then I had cupcakes for everyone. We have to host one meet up a quarter so this worked perfect. Everyone had a great time and Grace loved being the special girl. :)

Next was the actual birthday morning. Last year we decorated her door up for her birthday morning. This year we added the balloons in her room, which she LOVED! She couldn't stop saying "balloon, balloon, more balloon!"

We opened lots of presents all throughout the day. Including a brand new RED BIKE!

Grace also got to decorate her own cookie cake. She loved eating the icing and sprinkles right off the top of the cake. Such a silly girl. It is so fun to watch how big she is getting.

After that we headed to the Great Wolf Lodge! We spent the night and Grace got to swim, play, paint pumpkins, go trick or treating and eat lots of yummy food. Mimi, Boppy, Taylor, Mommy and Daddy were all there to celebrate!

It was a wonderful second birthday for our sweet girl. We are so lucky to have this sweet angel in our life.

Onto BLUE! We found out that Grace is getting a little brother. His name is Isaac Louis and we are so excited. We have traded in all the little girl clothes and pink things for blue, plaid and collared. I have found that I am also in love with little boy clothes. Here are a few pictures from our ultrasounds.

We decided to do some really fun gender reveal pictures. We sprayed blue paint everywhere! It has been so fun now that we just know our son is on the way. I am so thrilled Grace will get to experience the love and relationship of having a little brother that I have with mine. I'm also excited to get to experience both genders and the pros and cons that come with both. <3

Now, the third and final thing, HALLOWEEN! I am just going to post my favorite photos from all the parties and trick or treating that we did this year. Grace was a strawberry and a very cute one at that! We went to a little gym party, trick or treating in downtown Apex, Meet up Halloween party for everyone, Meetup Halloween party for 2 year olds and trick or treating at Mimi's and Boppy's. :) There was a lot of Halloween fun that we had!

So basically we have been having a wonderful time. I wasn't even able to address going to Statesville and seeing the hot air balloons, going to all the different pumpkin patches, spending lots of time running in the BOB and going to the park, doing Tot School switching with a couple other toddlers and their Mamas, continuing our own "pre-school" at home, and just enjoying life. I am feeling so much better this month and my tiny tinkerbell turned two and became the most smiley, enjoyable, chatty, and usually great at obeying, child I know! I am so lucky to call her my favorite girl. Always.

Grace Jacklyn-
You my love were, are, and have always been my little sunshine. I can't believe how much you have grown in just the last month! You are chatting so much these days and I love hearing all your thoughts. You can now fill me in on everything you have done while I am away, with Daddy and with friends. You repeat everything you hear, especially if it makes me laugh. Then you will repeat it over and over again. You are also a great singer. Currently its the little mermaid. You will sing "ahhh ahhh ahhhhhh" It is my aboslute favorite. Especially when you spin around while you are singing. You are just the happiest little person. I am so. madly. in love with you.

Isaac Louis-
You are my little man. I am starting to feel you moving every once in a while. I love it. You don't move at all like your sister, she was like a little jumping jelly bean in there. Your movements are slow and calculated. Of course I just want you to grow healthy and strong but there are also a couple other things I would really love if you could work into your little developing personality. I would love if you were really snuggly. :) I have yet to experience a super snuggly baby and I am hoping you just want to be held and loved.... until I need a break of course. hehe. Ok really I just want you to be you. I am so excited to find out who that person is going to be. You complete our family. We love you.
